Lady Health Visitor (LHV)

Lady Health Visitors (LHVs) are an essential part of the healthcare system in many countries. They are community health workers who provide a range of services to women and families, with a particular focus on maternal and child health.
LHVs are trained to provide health education, counseling, and support to women and families on a range of health issues, including family planning, prenatal care, childbirth, and child health and development. They also provide immunization services and screen for and manage common health problems.
LHVs also play a vital role in promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing illness and injury. They provide education and counseling on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention, and they work to identify and address environmental and social factors that can impact health.
At our organization, we are committed to supporting LHVs and promoting maternal and child health. We provide training and resources to LHVs, and we advocate for policies and practices that support high-quality community-based care. We also work to raise awareness of the critical role that LHVs play in promoting health and wellbeing in communities around the world.
